Awesome tool and some feature requests.
Awesome tool, in particular the "pause" feature. Avoids the whole
'Damn! What am I going to say now? Stop the recording!' problem.

Hi I downloaded this today and reckon its really brilliant!
I can see myself using it a lot generally for lots of emails.
In one particular case, I have a near blind friend who I email often and vice versa. He has a custom keyboard and a special version of outlook express with huge bold menus etc, and he is able to use them .... but both tasks of typing and reading print are very draining for him.
He is going to love this program!
Cheers, Nick

Hi,
I love your program very much. One suggestions. When I record
many messages, it is difficult to rely on recording time to
recall what the message is about. I have to click to listen
messages one by one to find out.
Suggest that you will allow user to creat a name (a few words,
or just one wond) to mark a voice message for management
convenience.
I believe your service will hit a broad audiance soon.
Thanks.
Roger

Hi everyone
I work in the field of deaf education - this tool (v-Mail in particular) has many possibilities for all ages of Deaf children including Deaf staff. An initial trial with staff has them quite excited - we are looking forward to testing it with mainstreamed students soon.
A question: Does anyone else agree that a helpful option would be to have the text contained in the "Add text:" box, made available to the recipient under their view of the video as well as to the author?
Thanks Springdoo and it's Kiwi made too!

Some suggestions
- It would be good to know when recipients have played the email. Could be done by embedding a unique url code in each email perhaps
- would be good to be able to embedd recorded messages in a blog/webpage using a widget code. Appreciate that they would time expire after 30 days
- would it be possible to obtain a url for a message [ideal for posting comments on blogs/wiki, despite their temporary nature e.g. I could have left this message as a springdoo]
You've created a faulous app [http://greatapps.blogspot.com/2006/09/springdoo-video-email-made-easy.html]

Hi Phil
Great to hear from you and glad you like Springdoo!
Good idea Phil. Currently the text typed in along with the Springdoo is only shown in the email that is sent to the recipient, but I am sure we could added it below the message. Perhaps in a section that only shows when you click on it.

Hi John
Great comments thanks!
We have something really special for you coming out in about 2 weeks, its called SpringCast, and it (i think), will be exactly what you are looking for.
1) In the current version, when a recipient plays an email you can see it by going to the messages grid in your Springdoo account. If the message is BOLD, the person has not played it. You can also see how may times they have played it.
2) In the new version coming soon, if you send the same message to multiple people, you can see if and when each of the people in the distribution list has played the message, and how many times they have played it
3) We are launching SpringCast soon - a very cool product. It provides you a widget player known as a Springdo Communicator that you embed into MySpace etc, and can send a new type of Springdoo message called a SpringCast. The communicator displays your message on your website. You can send audio and video to the Communicator from your computer as an uploaded file or a video created using the Springdoo website, fronm a mobile phone as 3gp mobile video or as audio from any old land line phone. Your messages are displayed instantly on your website. Messages can be viewed and replied to from your communicator on your website, and, your friends can SUBSCRIBE to your communicator and chose to get PUSHED your messages via video email, streaming mobile 3gp, SMS text message, RSS, iPod feed, etc. They can even reply from their mobile back to you personally, or back to the communicator.
Cheers Springdude
